Did you know Zehnder’s Splash Village is Michigan's Only Retractable Roof Waterpark? How cool is that?


We love the Atrium Waterpark at this Frankenmuth water park as you can enjoy a four person, six-story family raft ride! Float along the action river and wade into the zero entry pool with exciting water geysers. It's one of the best hotel pools in Michigan!

If you are a brave waterpark goer, you will get a serious adrenalin rush on The Super Loop which is a heart pound 6-story speed slide!   So much fun for the whole family!  Plus, Zehnder's Splash Village offers private family cabanas and a HUGE hot tub!

Love waterslides?  Well you are in luck! The Tower Twister Body Slide and The Bavarian Blast Tube Slide will meet your need for thrills and speed!

Day Passes can be purchased mid-week depending on availability.

If water isn't your thing, don't worry! The Bavarian Inn Lodge Waterpark also has miniature golf and a Family Fun Center with a whopping 160 video and redemption games, air hockey and pool tables! How fun is that?!

Soaring Eagle Waterpark in Mount Pleasant offers fun activities for all ages. There's waterslides, a lazy river with tubes (always my favorite), water basketball, water toys, wall climbing, huge hot tub and private cabanas.  Soaring Eagle Waterpark also has an arcade for hours of fun.

There's also a food court, snacking spots and Soaring Eagle's Nbakade Family Restaurant for when you get a huge appetite from swimming, splashing and playing!   What a fun family vacation as it's one of the best hotel pools in Michigan.

Do you have to stay at the hotel to use the waterpark? Nope! You can purchase day passes! We recommend buying them in advance.

Also, Midland Michigan is close by and offers great restaurants, coffee shops and hotels.  The downtown area features lots of shops and the famous Tridge, a three way walking bridge!

The Grand Mackinaw Beachfront Hotel (Previously the Fairview Beachfront Inn) is located near the ferries departing and arriving from Mackinac Island.  It's also close to downtown Mackinaw City's shopping, dining, and attractions.  Play in Castaway Bay Indoor Waterpark on-site (open June through September).

If you visit while the Castaway Bay waterpark is closed, you have free unlimited access to two offsite indoor waterparks, Pirate's Adventure Indoor Waterpark at Crown Choice Inn and Emerald Cove Indoor Waterpark at Bridge Vista Beach Hotel (listed below). A recent $26.3 million expansion and renovation makes the Holland Aquatic Center an incredible place for locals and visitors alike to enjoy year round!

Grab a day pass to splash and play at the family-friendly Splash Zone! Slide down the huge indoor water slide, giggle in the children’s play area, grab a tub and float down the lazy river!  Walk right into their zero-entry pool and enjoy this incredible water play place!

Accessibility: HAC is entirely wheelchair accessible, with an elevator, automatic doors and a covered walkway entrance with snowmelt for additional winter safety. All pools are equipped with lifts and all locker rooms include accessible restrooms, changing spaces and shower facilities.

Competition Pool Activities - Enjoy the inflatable Obstacle Course and a Diving Board.

  • The Leisure Pool is a heated swimming pool with a zero depth entry shallow area, water slide, fountains, lazy river and a 10 yard lap pool.

15. Spring Lake Fitness & Aquatic Center (Membership Based)

Enjoy the lazy river, blue water slide, ropes courses and water activities in the Family Pool at the Spring Lake Fitness & Aquatic Center. Family swim times are at set dates and times so be sure to visit the website or call the Aquatic center for more information prior to your visit. 

Lots of group exercise classes, 340,000-gallon competition pool, steam room, hot tub and lots of other amenities.
