I've gotta say, SeaLife Aquarium Michigan is one of the fishiest places we've ever visited!

Everywhere you look there's slippery creatures with huge eyes watching your every move while lurking behind rocks while trying to blend in. Sounds pretty shady to me...

Check out our Sea Life Michigan Aquarium photos!

Fascinating Seahorse Facts

Seahorse graphic

So, this is crazy: Male seahorses carry eggs in their pouches provided by the females.

After 5-6 weeks, the males release 150-200 baby seahorses!  Good luck, little ones!!

Seahorses eat small crustacea such as Mysis Shrimp. An adult eats 30-50 times a day.

Seahorse fry (baby seahorses) eat 3000 pieces of food per day! How about that food bill!!

Oooh a Touch Pond at Sea Life Aquarium in Michigan!

At the interactive touch pond at Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, you can touch sea anemone, sea stars and other colorful sea creatures. It's best to use two fingers and touch them very carefully.

What Else Is There to Do Nearby?

Stroll through Great Lakes Crossing Mall!  It's not just a boring mall, there's Legoland, AMC movie theater, Rainforest Cafe (and lots of of other great meal spots), Pepe the Pig and more!
