Every time Chris and I wander amongst the booths at the Kris Kringle Market in downtown Rochester Michigan, it feels like we've entered a winter wonderland filled with holiday spirit and cheer. There's definitely energy and happiness in the air!

Additionally, downtown Rochester's annual Kris Kringle market is brimming with large selections of specialty foods, jewelry, hand-crafted gifts and one-of-a-kind items created by local artisans.
Inspired by the centuries-old European Christmas markets, this open-air market captures the essence of a traditional yuletide celebration.

Bundle up and come on out to Metro Detroit's version of a 700-year old tradition of the open-air Christmas markets throughout Europe. Handmade strudel in several flavors like spinach cheese are so delicious! Look for roasted almonds, quiche and other delicious delicacies. There's even live entertainment!
NOTE: Many of the vendors at this holiday market accept CASH ONLY so be sure to have lots of small bills ready.
We LOVE the Original Strudel Factory's strudels! Try their apple, cherry, cheese, apricot almost and pumpkin strudels! Yummy! Also, keep an eye out for Nitsche’s Meats & Deli.
