People watching cider being madeWatch cider being made from the 2nd floor of the barn

It's so exciting to watch cider being made from their viewing area located on the second floor of the barn at Uncle Johns Cider Mill. It's free to watch and very educational.

While Visiting Uncle Johns Cider Mill, Go Pumpkin Picking in Their Pumpkin Patches!

Check Uncle Johns Cider Mill's website for when they are open for pumpkin picking! Their pumpkin patches are full of glorious orange pumpkins just waiting to be picked this fall!!

In fact, there are dozens of fantastic Michigan Pumpkin Patches waiting for you!

You Can Also Enjoy Uncle Johns Cider Mill's U Pick Flowers at Their Flower Farm!

Did you know you can also enjoy U Pick flowers at their Flower Farm? Generally, flowers bloom through September.  What an original summer and early fall activity that is fun for the whole family!

See our list of other U Pick Michigan Flower Farms.

Wander Uncle John's Sunflower Trail with U Pick Sunflowers!

The Michigan sunflower fields are just glorious at Uncle John's Cider Mill. Simply purchase a mason jar, take along some sissors from the stand, and fill your jar with these cheery yellow sunflowers!

Sunflower picking is one of my favorite things to do in Michigan in the fall.  It lifts my spirits and supports local Michigan farmers

Check Out Uncle Johns Cider Mill's Bakery and Store!

There is a cute store for preserves, can goods, gifts and home decor.  Also, be sure to visit the upstairs area in the barn for freshly made apple cider and warm donuts!

Chris and I bought a gallon of cider and made our own Carmel sauce to make cinnamon hot cider drinks.

Uncle Johns Sunflower Days and Car Show Is a Blast!

Each year, in early September, Uncle Johns Cider Mill hosts their annual Sunflower Days and Car Show. It's so much fun and free to attend!

Chris and I absolutely love it and bring our car for the show!

Uncle John's Hard Cider is Available in Their Tap Room

Visit the taproom at Uncle John's Cider Mill! They offer a great selection of wine, hard cider and spirits.  Can't decide? Try a flight!  A favorite is the Apple Apricot Hard Cider available April through July.
