All walks are paved so it's accessible for strollers or wheelchairs.
Currently the DNR is testing a newly developed sea lamprey pheromone to increase the trap catch. There are several traps along the walls, see if you can spot them all!
You can head south on the paved walking trails or hop in your car for our next stop. Head north on Front Ave NW, Turn right onto 6th street and marvel at the beauty of the bridge. Turn right onto Monrow Ave NW and park at the 6th Street Bridge Park.
We've got lots of exploring to do so you might want to book a hotel for an extra day of fun!
Booking.comI love the paved walking trails that go all the way south to the Blue Bridge and north to the 6th street bridge. Great overlooks, benches, shade trees and great Grand Rapids city views!

I mean seriously! Check out these awesome views of the 6th street bridge, waterfall and the city skyline! I love just sitting here enjoying the view and taking some time to just be in the moment. Soaking in the Sights, Sounds and SUN!
After spending about an hour walking and exploring the Riverwalk trails, hanging over the overlooks hoping to spot a fish, talking to the fisherman and sitting on the rocks, we decided to head to our next stop, the Gerald Ford Museum. Let's go!
I love my Keen sandals for these rocky adventures!
