Zingermans Roadhouse in Ann Arbor

Zingermans Roadhouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan is a feast for your eyes and your belly!  Let me just say...simply driving into the Zingermans parking lot in Ann Arbor, Michigan is an assault on your meat loving senses.  Your nose will delight and your stomach will growl as clouds of rich bbq waft past you on your way into the restaurant.

You might have to restrain yourself from licking the air but if you can't control your carnivore self, I won't judge.  I might have been open mouth breathing!

The Zingermans Roadhouse Experience

Just so you know, there are multiple Zingermans locations in Ann Arbor.  Zingerman's Roadhouse is located at 2501 Jackson Ave, Ann Arbor.

Not only are your meals beautifully presented but the servers are super entertaining and friendly!  A few stopped by our table just to chat which really enriched our experience.  So get ready to get your nosh on!

The menu is expansive and includes bbq, chicken, brisket, turkey, macaroni and cheese, salads and so much more!

Hold Everything:  Friends, let me tell you about the mustard bbq sauce.  It is so freakin' good.  In a whisper, I asked our server to spill the beans about what was in it.  Shield your eyes if you can't keep a secrete: coriander, garlic, vinegar, onion and a few other flavorful ingredients make up this delightful sorcery.

It was really hard to decide what to order.  Our server noticed the dilemma and snuck us a sample of the pulled pork. Which was a burst of clarity. GET IN MY BELLY!

I also wanted to mention that the mashed potatoes are REAL (none of that powdered gunk masquerading as a potato) and the greens are cooked for hours in their beautiful open kitchen to create a silky texture.

I also ordered the outstanding beet and goat cheese salad.  Don't question it, just order it because I said so and I wouldn't steer you wrong.

Zingermans Roadhouse has a Drive-Thru?

Heck Yeah! And it's not any ole' drive-thru, it's an adorable vintage trailer. I mean why not? It has it's own menu or you can order anything on the Zingerman's Roadhouse menu.

Thanks to the awesome recommendation by @michiganepicure, we had a rockin lunch at Zingermans in Ann Arbor! Our server brought us a pulled pork sample to try which was so freakin awesome we almost licked the plate. Naturally we ordered a platter of pork with creamy homemade mashed potatoes. I also ordered a roasted beet with goat cheese salad which I can never pass up. Our server was so friendly and fun at @zingermansroadhouse. They even gave me a couple recipes! How cool is that? Stay tuned as I’ll be making a couple of the new recipes and post the results! Have you been there? Have you tried their famous Mac and cheese??? . . . . . #annarbormichigan #annarbor #zingermans #zingermansroadhouse #michiganrestaurants #yummy #michigan #michiganfoodie #michiganeats #greatrestaurant #mittenstate #foodie #salad #livetotravel #livetoeat #annarboreats #annarborfood
