2023 Frankenmuth Flower Festival Schedule: Sunflower Fun Color Run, Dinner, U-Pick, 25 Acres of Sunflower Fields at Grandpa Tiny's Farm in East Michigan

This July, you absolutely MUST come to Grandpa Tiny's in Frankenmuth to see acres of cheery sunflower fields. It's a photographer's dream and I love it so much! Book a special dinner in the sunflowers, limber up for the Sunflower Fun Color Run, sunflower u-pick, and shop the Frankenmuth Flower Festival craft vendors!
There will also be fun food trucks at Grandpa Tiny's Farm so you won't go hungry. There are so many fun things to do in Michigan!
But my favorite thing? Wandering through the 25 acres of incredible sunflower fields in Frankenmuth Michigan during this lovely floral season!

Where is the Frankenmuth Flower Festival?

Watch the Plein Air Painters!
I love watching the Plein Air painters work diligently painting the glorious sunflower fields. It's one of the reasons why I go to this incredible Michigan sunflower festival every year.
What's Plein Air? It's artists working outside to paint an actual object in nature, landscape or event (not working on a still life in a studio or from a photograph). It's so inspiring!

Sunflower Fun Color Run | Great Exercise With Incredible Scenery!
5k run/jog/walk at Grandpa Tiny's Farm. Along the path there will be color powder blasting stations!
Limber up as it's time for the Sunflower Fun Color Run! The route will take you through lovely scenery at Grandpa Tiny's Farm, over the Black Iron Bridge, and at the completion of the run, it's time for a color party! Your white race shirt (and you) will get doused in color!
Runners will receive a t-shirt and finishers medal. So many fun things to do!

Did you know there are over 25 acres of glorious, golden faced sunflowers at Grandpa Tiny's Farm in Frankenmuth?
Your general admission ticket to the Frankenmuth Flower Festival includes access to the flower fields and you can pick one sunflower to take home.
Hot Tip: I know it's tempting to pick a fully open sunflower, but try picking one that is about to bloom as it will open up once you get home!
