July 3, 2025 - 4th Of July Weekend In South Haven - Light Up the Lake Fireworks

Light Up The Lake Fireworks, Dusk

Best viewing will be from Riverfront Park, North & South Beaches.

Fireworks are released off North Pier. Awesome fireworks over Lake Michigan!

Bring your beach towel and take a seat in the sand to enjoy South Haven fireworks over Lake Michigan!

  • Tune into 103.7 COSY FM for music that plays along with the fireworks! We always tune in for a more enhanced South Haven Fireworks experience!


City of South Haven information regarding Dyckman Bridge road and water traffic: The last bridge opening prior to the firework is 9:30 pm. The bridge will remain down for pedestrian and vehicle traffic for approximately half an hour after completion of the show.  At 11:15pm, the bridge will be raised to allow boat traffic to pass.

The bridge will remain up position for about an hour until all boat traffic has passed under the bridge. Therefore, vehicle and pedestrian traffic will not be able to cross the bridge until boat traffic has cleared.

July 4, 2025 | 4th Of July Weekend In South Haven PARADE!

4th Of July Parade

Time: 11 am. 

The parade starts at South Haven High School on Elkenburg Street. It then proceeds west on Elkenburg, turns north of Kalamazoo Street, continues to Phoenix Street where the parade then turns east on Phoenix through downtown. It then turns south on Broadway Avenue. It then turns west on Huron Street and then south on Center Street and proceeds back to the high school parking lot.

What a great 4th of July celebration!  Did you know the parade has been a tradition in South Haven tradition for over 150 years!


July 5-6, 2025 | South Haven Art Fair

South Haven Art Fair, July 5 and July 6, 2025

Hours of the art fair:

  • Saturday, July 5, 10 am - 5 pm
  • Sunday, July 6, 10 am - 4 pm

Where: Stanley Johnston Park, 202 Dyckman Avenue

Come on out to Stanley Park to shop for paintings, drawings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, wood, jewelry, fiber art, and more! Chris and I been to this show many times and we love it! Stanley Park has lots of shade trees and food trucks line the road.
