2. 55th Annual Frankfort Fall Festival Parade | Frankfort Michigan | Dates and Times

When: September 2-4, 2023

Where: Frankfort, Michigan

The 55th Annual Frankfort Fall Festival over Labor Day weekend draws 250,000 visitors to the charming Village of Frankfort!  This Michigan Fall Festival in Southwest Michigan has over 300 artisans in which to shop!

This Frankfort Michigan annual event offers fun carnival/Midway rides, main stage live entertainment, yummy walking tacos, and funnel cakes! Frankfort Fall Fest is a family-friendly event and so much fun!


3. Harvest Festival at Jollay Orchards | Coloma | Dates and Times

When: September 1 - October 29, 2023, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only

Where: 1850 Friday Rd, Coloma, MI 49038

Where: Richmond Area Good Old Days Festival, Richmond, MI

The Richmond Good Old Days Festival was voted MICHIGAN'S BEST Small Town Festival.

  • There will be a carnival, heart pumping motor sports, Grand Parade (Sunday, September 10, 2023), fireworks and more! 
  • Fireworks Show is Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 9:30 p.m.

7. 2023 Art & Apples Festival | Rochester Fall Festival

When: 2023 Art & Apples Festival is September 8-10, 2023

  • Friday, September 8: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 9: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 10: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where: Rochester Municipal Park. 

Event is FREE. 

The Art & Apples Festival is one of the nation’s top fine art fairs, featuring over 200 fine art exhibitors, food trucks, tents, stage entertainment, art demonstrations, and art activity stations.  Come on out for a fun weekend at one of our favorite Michigan Fall Festivals!


8. Michigan Brewers Guild U.P. Fall Beer Festival | Marquette, MI (Upper Peninsula) | Dates and Times

When: September 9, 2023. General Admission is 1-6pm, with the gates opening at Noon for a VIP hour for Enthusiast Members.

Where: U.P. Fall Beer Festival will be held at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.

Michigan Brewers Guild U.P. Fall Beer Festival, Marquette, MI. One of our favorite festivals in September! Approximately 100 Michigan breweries will be on site for festival goers to sample more than 800 craft beers!  Fun 2023 Michigan Fall Festivals in the Upper Peninsula! So many fun things to do in Michigan!

9. Good Ol' Days Fall Fest | Whitmore Lake, MI | Dates and Times

When: September 10, 2023, 10 am - 4pm

Where: Manly W. Bennett Park 10405 Merrill Road, Whitmore Lake, MI

Join Heritage Vintage Market during Good Ol' Day Fall Fest for 150 vendors, crafters, and food trucks! There will also be hay rides, pumpkins and Dancing Witches! Fun family-friendly event. 


10. Saline Oktoberfest | Dates and Times

When: September 15, 2023 and September 16, 2023

Where: S. Ann Arbor Street, Saline, MI

The festival features live music, German food and beer, and lots of fun! Add the Saline Oktoberfest to the list of Michigan Fall Festivals!


11. 50th Annual Eastown Street Fair | Grand Rapids Fall Festival

When: Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 9am to 9pm (Beer tent open until 10pm).

Where: This outdoor festival will take place along Wealthy Street between Giddings Avenue and Lake Drive. It will also be along the first block of Ethel Avenue and the Wealthy St. Hub Lot.

The Annual Eastown Street Fair in Grand Rapids is a family-friendly celebration featuring arts, crafts, food, music, and the Eastown neighborhood of Grand Rapids.


12. Fallasburg Arts Festival | Lowell (Near Grand Rapids) | Dates and Times

When: Fallasburg Arts Festival, September 16-17, 2023, Saturday & Sunday 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Where: Fallasburg Park, 1124 Fallasburg Park Drive, Lowell, MI 49331. The park is located approximately 20 miles east of Grand Rapids in Lowell, MI. 

Enjoy 100 unique fine art and fine craft booths, food booths, children's crafts, craft demonstrations, and music performed on an outdoor stage. Fun for the whole family!

The event is Free. Parking is $5 per car.


13. Clinton Fall Festival 2023

When: September 22, 2023 - September 24, 2023.

Where: Clinton Fall Festival is located downtown Clinton, MI

Clinton Fall Festival is one of Michigan's favorite festivals in Southeast Lower Michigan.

  • This fall festival features several streets of vendors, crafters, food booths, live music, entertainment, exciting carnival and more!


14. Fall Fest | Detroit Public Library

When: September 23, 2023,  1 – 4 PM

Where: Detroit Public Library, 5201 Woodward Avenue Detroit, MI 48202

Paint a mini-pumpkin, create a leaf print, and make your own candy apple. Harvest a new Library Card and make a cool wallet to store it in for the winter.


15. Rockford's 47th Annual Harvest Fest 2023 | Rockford Michigan

When: September 22, 2023 - September 24, 2023, 10 am - 2pm

Where: Downtown Rockford, 48 Courtland Street, Rockford, MI

Rockford's 47th Annual Harvest Fest is a kickoff of Michigan's fall season! Come on out for super fun hayrides, scarecrows, chili and more! So much fun for the kids!

Rockford's annual Harvest Fest supports local non-profits with a classic car show, chili cook off, chicken dinners, make & take scarecrows and tons of other family friendly activities! Add the Rockford Annual Harvest Fest to your list of must-see Michigan Fall Festivals!

16. Harvest Festival at Brimley State Park

When: September 23, 2023,  10am – 8 pm

Where: Brimley State Park, 9200 W 6 Mile Rd. Brimley, MI

Hey Campers! You are invited to the park's annual Harvest Festival which includes a pancake breakfast, site decorating, chili cook-off, scavenger hunt and, of course, trick-or-treating! Activities are limited to registered campers.


17. Fall Festival – Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair

When: September 23, 2023 - September 24, 2023, Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-3pm 

Where:  Village Green: 231 S Hancock St, Pentwater, MI

The Annual Fall Fest Arts and Crafts Show is a great way to shop, relax, dine locally and enjoy the community.  


18. Harvest Fest 2023 | Ann Arbor

When: September 24, 2023, 1 -4 pm

Where: Harvest Fest is located at the UM Campus Farm and Matthaei Botanical Gardens (1800 N Dixboro Rd), Ann Arbor

The University of Michigan Sustainable Food Program and the Campus Farm invite you to the HarvestFest 2023. It's a celebration of all things sustainable food.  There will be fun games, music, food, farm tours, and connections to many organizations on campus and in our local community.

This event is FREE and open to the community!

19. Fall Harvest Spectacular | Grand Rapids

When: September 24, 2023, 2-4pm

Where: Robinette's Apple Haus

Celebrate Autumn at the Fall Harvest Spectacular! Come on out to Robinette's for this fun family event. Robinette's activities, like the corn maze & hayrides are available for an extra cost. Hay rides, petting zoo, cider and donuts! Such fun Michigan events!

22. Boyne City Harvest Festival

When: September 30, 2023,  8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Where:  Boyne City Main Street.

Enjoy music, crafts, children’s activities (10 am – 2 pm), fall produce, and more. The Boyne City Farmers Market will be on Water and Lake Streets selling a variety of fall produce including apples, carrots, mums, pumpkins, squash and cider.


23. Downtown Grandville Beer Garden and Fall Fest | Fun Grandville Michigan Fall Festivals! | Dates and Times

When: September 29, 2023 (5pm -10pm) - September 30, 2023 (11am - 4pm)

Where: The Commons at Rivertown in Grandville, MI.

Live music, vendors, food trucks, lighted pumpkin trail, petting farm, horse and wagon rides, scarecrows, adult beverage garden and lots more! Fun two day event in Grandville (near Grand Rapids) event!


24. 2nd Annual Fall Farm Day | Midland Michigan

When: September 30, 2023, 12 - 5 pm

Where: Northern Charm Farm, 1010 South Homer Road, Midland MI 

Come join us for a day filled with fun!  There will be local artisans and crafters, food and drink vendors, kids craft table, and bounce house! The alpacas will be ready to have selfies taken, and hand fed grain! Admission is $4 for adults and kids 4 and over. Ages 3 and under will be free.


25. Caledonia Harvest Festival | Caledonia (Grand Rapids)

When: Saturday, September 30, 2023, 10 am - 2pm

Where: Caledonia Community Green, Caledonia, MI

The Caledonia Harvest Festival is a fall celebration that brings together area businesses and organizations to offer free family-oriented activities for all ages to enjoy. This event is free and open to the public.


26. Harvest Happening Waterford 2023

When: October 1, 2023, 12 - 5pm

Where: Hess-Hathaway Park, Waterford Twp, MI

Harvest Happening Waterford 2023 events and activities include hayrides, pony rides, kids rides, live entertainment, petting farm, food, crafts.  There will also be a historical house tour and historical activities such as spinning, felting, storytelling and rope making. 

You kids will have a blast with several kid’s rides, pumpkin patch, make and take crafts and more!


27. Tricks and Treats Fall Fest at Michigan's Adventure! | Muskegon

When: Saturdays & Sundays September 16, 2023 through Oct. 15, 2023 | 12 to 6 PM

Where: Michigan's Adventure, 4750 Whitehall Rd, Muskegon, MI

Tricks and Treats at Michigan’s Adventure is an all-new, family-friendly Halloween event! Celebrate the season with mischievous tricks, tasty treats, and so much more.

There will be tons of spooky Halloween activities for kids and adults. Come dressed in your best family-friendly Halloween attire for our Halloween costume contest. There will be lots of tasty seasonal treats, drinks and, of course, candy!

Plus...Several popular family rides will be open during this fun Halloween event. There will be costumed characters during an immersive Trunk-or-Treating event and a Spooktacular Costume Parade! Fun all day event for the whole family!

When: October 6, 2023 - October 7, 2023.

Where: Holland, MI

The 2023 Fall Fest will feature professional pumpkin carvers, street performers, pumpkin painting, downtown walking tours, and even a Fall Artisan Market!  One of our favorite Michigan Fall Festivals!


30. Ferndale Fall Festival 2023

When: October 7, 11 am - 3pm.

Where: Detroit Curling Club, 1615 E Lewiston Ave, Ferndale, MI

They will have all the traditional fun stuff, plus a little bit more! 


31. Bellaire Harvest Festival + Scarecrow Extravaganza | Bellaire

When: October 7, 2023. 10 AM – 6 PM

Where: Downtown Bellaire: Bellaire Chamber of Commerce, 308 E Cayuga St, Bellaire, MI

Come on out for one heck of a good time! There will be live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, kids games and more!


32. Horning Farms Fall Fest 2023 | Manchester MI

When: October 7, 2023, 11 am -3pm

Where: Horning Farms, Manchester MI

Come on out for the annual Fall Fest as there will be fun, farm-themed activities such as wagon ride farm tours, farm-themed games, a petting area, and more!

A variety of fall products and decorations will be available such as homegrown pumpkins, corn stalk bundles, mums, and mini straw bales. 

The farm shop will be open throughout the event so you can purchase their delicious cheese, butter, ice cream, homegrown chicken, and homegrown beef!


33. Michigan Renaissance Festival

Michigan Renaissance Festival, Holly Michigan. Here ye, Here ye! Come to the Greatest Ren Fest in all the land!! Weekends & Labor Day • 10 am - 7 pm, Aug. 19, 2023 - October 1, 2023. Located at 12600 Dixie Hwy., Holly, MI.  This is one heck of a great event, we have gone many times!  


34. Fall Festival | Petoskey, M

When: October 7, 2023, 3 – 7 PM

Where: Petoskey Winter Sports Park, 1100 Winter Park Ln, Petoskey, MI

The Rotary Club of Petoskey is throwing a free Fall Festival that celebrates the best our Northern Michigan fall season has to offer. Enjoy pumpkin painting, lawn games, live music, magic shows, cornhole tournament and more! Grab a beer or glass of wine in the beverage tent and enjoy live music.

They'll be grilling up world-famous Rotary brats and serving cider and donuts, hot cocoa, and more. And food trucks will be onsite, too!

36. Charlevoix's Apple Fest

Where: Fri & Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-4pm

Come on out for Charlevoix's Apple Fest!  Food booths, art and craft show, farm market, petting zoo, kids games and lots more!


37. Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival | Rochester Hills

When: October 14, 2023, 10 am - 4pm

Where: Van Hoosen Farms in Rochester Hills

10:00am – 4:00pm - Pumpkin Carving and Fall Activities
7:00pm – 9:00pm - Pumpkin Lighting

Daytime activities include food, pumpkin bowling, live entertainment, professional pumpkin carving display, crafts, Yates Cider Mill cider & donuts, and more! Carve a pumpkin and place it on the stone walls surrounding the Museum property and return in the evening to see all the pumpkins lit up! Admission price includes 1 pumpkin per person. Stencils and carving tools provided but you may bring your own carving tools.

Where: Domino's Farms Petting Farm, Ann Arbor, MI

So much fun this fall in Ann Arbor, Michigan! Come on out for pony rides, tractor rides, fall games, pumpkins, children's music, square dancing and food trucks! There will also be a farmer's market to purchase items from local farmers.


40. Ann Arbor Artoberfest | Downtown Ann Arbor

When: October 28, 2023, and October 29, 2023, Saturday: 10 am - 7 pm
Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm

Where: Downtown, 316 Main Street, Ann Arbor, MI

Downtown Ann Arbor. The event stretches across Ann Street and North Fourth Ave. from Huron into the charming Kerrytown area.  This fall art festival will feature 100 jury selected artists, live entertainment, food vendors, art activities, and several adult beverage offerings.

Sip, shop, and savor the beautiful fall weather, talented artisans, and wonderful tunes from various entertainers.


41. Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer and Food Festival

When: November 1, 2023 -  November 5, 2023

Where: DeVos Place, 303 Monroe Avenue, Grand Rapids, MI

This Grand Rapids festival offers food, beverage and culinary entertainment presented by area chefs and restaurants. There will be live musical entertainment at the Festival in The Vineyard, Beer City Station, RendezBREW Café and on the outdoor Patio off Hemingway Hall. Fun Michigan fall festivals!

When: November 11, 2023 - November 12, 2023, 10 am - 4pm

43. Flapjack and Flannel Festival 2023

When: November 11, 2023, 12-6 pm

Where: Jacob's Farm, Traverse City, MI

Wear your flannel, drink delicious brews paired with flapjacks!  Fill your cup from 10 local vendors serving wine, cider, beer and cocktails!
