We will be in Michigan soon for a few days to visit. What types of things are there to do with a family of 3? THANKS!

I recommend spending a day in St. Joseph. Silver Beach is fabulous, ride the Carousel, grab a bite to eat at Silver Beach Pizza and wander the bluff:

Plus...Sand dune rides are super fun at Silver Lake, plus there is a great beach and camping:

Another idea: We also love Saugatuck - Climb Mt. Baldhead, ride the Chain Ferry, enjoy your evening on the Star of Saugatuck Boat Cruises and bob along with the Harbor Duck Adventures! Plus the downtown area is so quaint!

We also highly recommend visiting the Traverse City area. You could easily spend all three days exploring Traverse City, the Leelanau peninsula and the Old Mission Peninsula.
