We wondered how much work it is to hike to Tahquamenen falls, is it hard?AnswerHi Sharen,To reach the Upper Falls, it is a 1/3 mile walk (all flat ground) to the upper accessible viewing area but there are also 94 steps to reach the brink (closer viewing spots). It's so worth it though! You can get great viewing without climbing the stairs too.To reach the Lower Falls from the parking lot, there are several viewing spots very close to the parking lot. Additional viewing spots (closer to the falls) require a 0.4 mile walk. It's pretty flat and scenic so you will love it!Read more about Tahquamenon Falls: Tahquamenon Falls State Park: Things to Do, Camping, Hotels and PhotosCheers to Michigan Travel, SherryTraveling MichiganFor more ideas, check out Travel-Mi.com Traveling Michigan Events, Inspiration and FUN!
