Are sunflowers grown in Michigan?

We are traveling in our RV from California to MI and hoped to see sunflowers, are they grown in Michigan in large fields that we can visit? Thank you!

Answer

Hi Cheryl!

Absolutely! Michigan is covered in Sunflowers throughout mid August through September! Grandpa Tiny's in Frankenmuth has one heck of a sunflower festival that you would love. We have tons of recommendations in the link below with an interactive map of sunflower fields all across Michigan. Check it out!
