Big Lake Brewing | Large Food and Draft Menu | Events

Where: Big Lake Brewing, 13 W 7th St, Holland, MI 49423

Big Lake Brewing has an extensive food menu including steaks, salads, pizza, spaghetti and yummy desserts! 

Several beers are on tap and they also offer house-made cocktails and several wine choices.  Chris and I love their beer names including "The Undertaking," "Three Feet Under" and "Big Lake Camper."

Plus, Big Lake Brewing offers great merchandise such as pilsner glasses, hoodies, long sleeve shirts, stickers and more! They host or participate in lots of local events including the Michigan Brewers Guild Beer Fests (Spring and Winter), Burning Foot Beer Festival, and Corks and Kegs at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek. 


I might be known to enjoy a beer flight every now and again! It's such a fun way to sample several Michigan brews!


Brewery 4 Two 4 | Tap Room | Family Owned

Brewery 4 Two 4 works hard to brew beers that everyone will enjoy. Be sure to visit their tap room for Pales, IPAs, Saison's, Stouts, fruit beers, and barrel-aged beers. They are one of the top Holland Michigan Breweries in our book. 

What does Brewery 4 Two 4 mean? The name comes from the last three digits of Holland's zip code.

  • Brewery 4 Two 4 is owned and operated by Dave Miller who is very active in the day to day operations at this Holland Michigan Brewery.  He loves experimenting with new batches and been homebrewing for well over ten years. Dave and his family are grateful to everyone that comes in for a pint and bite! 

Brewery 4 Two 4 offers glassware, clothing, hats, and logo items. You can also order beer and ciders to go.

Chris and I love supporting local businesses run by real, hardworking local people. These guys are awesome. 


New Holland Brewing | Full Menu, Shop, Seasonal Brews | One of Our Favorite Holland Michigan Breweries

Where: New Holland Brewing, 66 E 8th St, Holland, MI 49423

New Holland Brewing is also located in Grand Rapids and Battle Creek. 

New Holland Brewing offers a full food menu in addition to beer.  Try their yummy chicken wings, hummus platter, roasted beet and butternut salad, pizzas, sandwiches and pasta! 

Their popular Dragon's Milk releases at various times of the year and includes the popular flavors of S'Mores, Coffee Chocolate and Oatmeal Cookie. New Holland Brewing offers pub exclusive, seasonal and limited release beers. Try their IPA's and ale's.  

New Holland Brewing's Full Circle Ale (available seasonally) won a Silver medal from Best of Craft Beer Awards Competition. 

  • When They Got Started: In 1997, Brett VanderKamp wished to bring innovative brewing to his hometown of Holland, Michigan near the shores of Lake Michigan.


TODAY, New Holland Brewing is regarded as one of the top innovators in craft brewing and distilling. They employ around 400 people which allows them the ability to sell their craft beer and spirits across the United States and the world. New Holland Brewing now has three full-service restaurants, two spirits tasting rooms, three stores in nearby cities and a store on-line to purchase their goods.

Come enjoy a bite and a brew at this nano-brewery in downtown Holland, Michigan. Ever since opening in November 2012, OBC serves craft beer, wine, cider, cocktails and bourbon.

  • Our Brewing Company has a pretty extensive list of stouts, lager, shandy, IPA's and more. They produce small batches of complex beverages with a focus on incorporating local ingredients. 

Keep an eye on their website for upcoming events including musicians, trivia and games of all types in their fun taproom. They have some great taproom merchandise too. 


HopCat | Loves to Promote Michigan Breweries!

Where: 80 W 8th St, Holland, MI 49423

Not a brewery themselves, but HopCat plays an integral part in serving and showing off Michigan's local breweries. Serving locally brewed beer brings more recognition to the individual breweries across Michigan. So, for that reason, Chris and I chose to list them in our Holland Michigan Breweries page.

HopCat offers a full food menu of starters (try their truffle fries, seriously), salads, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and desserts. 

  • As for beer, HopCat carries lagers, ales, wheat, IPA's, pale ales, Ambers, browns, ports and stouts. HopCat carries several of New Holland Brewery's beers.

What's Unique?  Hopland Brewstillery is a distillery, brewery & winery! 

They offer around 40 of their own beers on tap. It's a great place to watch football and other sports on their numerous wall mounted tv's. 


Tripleroot | Brewpub, Market & Deli | Live Music | Popular Holland Michigan Breweries!

Tripleroot offers 11 draft beers on tap plus hard seltzer, wine, cider & 100 different bourbon choices. Tripleroot brews their own beer.
